Boccia England took the most inclusive sport in the world to the British Embassy in Rome after receiving an invitation to the “Innovation for Inclusion” reception and panel discussion.
Following the Milano Cortina Paralympic Games, the embassy hosted an event that brought together organisations driving innovation to make sport more accessible for physically disabled people.
At the event, we were delighted to showcase our new cardboard ramps, a simple, low-cost solution designed to remove one of the biggest barriers to entry. While traditional ramps can cost hundreds, our approach makes it far easier for schools, clubs, and new players to get started playing boccia.
The ramps are now available to buy through our shop – click here.
We’re so proud to have been invited to the reception, and we’re delighted to be part of the movement to make sport more accessible to physically disabled athletes across the UK and in developing nations around the world.
