1st4Sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Boccia

Overview

Aim

The 1st4sport Level 2 Award in Coaching Boccia (QCF) is the second qualification on the boccia coaching ladder. The qualification is designed to provide learners with an opportunity to study and be assessed on both the practical and theoretical aspects of coaching boccia to groups of adults and children in an appropriate environment. Learners will develop an understanding of safe, ethical and effective boccia coaching. The Certificate qualifies learners to coach the skills and techniques of the sport of boccia, as identified in the 1st4sport Level 2 Award in Coaching Boccia (QCF) Technical Syllabus, to groups of adults and children. The qualification might be used to generate evidence for other vocationally related boccia coaching qualifications. The course itself including certification for successful learners will cost £500 per delegate. Learners must hold the 1st4sport Level 1 Award in Coaching Boccia (QCF)to register for this course.

Target Audience

Age 17+ and successfully completed the Level 1 Award in Coaching Boccia.

Duration

The Level 2 course is a 5 day programme; 4 days contact time with a tutor and 1 day assessment. (09.00-17.00 each day).

Capacity

Ideal minimum 8, maximum 12.
