Times and courts



On the day

What time is registration?

Please register by 8am, if you have any problems please call 07824 317993 .

Phone in registration! If you are not scheduled to play in the first round of matches you can phone or text in on the number above.
Where is registration?

Registration takes place in the sports hall.

Can I practice before my matches?

Yes there will be practice courts available in the sports hall, they will open at 8am.

Will a schedule of matches be available before the competition?

Yes, the schedule is available now above - click on 'Times and courts'.

Can I buy lunch and refreshments on the day?

There is NO cafe on site. There is a hot drinks machine and a small kitchen on site which can be used to access hot water.

Competition Information

Rules and Guidelines

The compeittion will be played using the most recent BISFed Rules.

The BISFed Competition manual will also be used where applicable.


BC1/2 Team will play in a round robin of four.
BC3 Pairs will play in two pools of three and progress to Semi-Finals and Finals.
BC4 Pairs will play in a round robin of four.

Teams/Pairs will be seeded using the Boccia England Ranking List. The two players with the highest ranks will be used to seed their team or pair. You can view the most recent Ranking Lists at the bottom of these FAQs.


Medals will be presented for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each competition class.

The Rachel Morgan Trophy will be awarded to the winning BC3 Pair.

The Academy Trophy will be awarded to the academy that accrues the most points at the competition based on the following:

  • 10 points for a win

  • Extra 2 bonus points if a team/pair wins by 4 points or more

To get a total the points at the end of the competition will be divided by the number of players representing that academy (this will not include EPG players).

Warm up

There will be no warm up balls, every round there will be two courts available for warm up for those teams/pairs that are on the next round.
