How does qualification for the finals work?

Qualification is based on a quota:
1-3 players = 1 qualifier
4-9 players = 2 qualifiers
10+ players = 3 qualifiers

On the day

What time is registration?

Registration is at 9am, if you have any problems please call 07824 317993. BC3's will not be on until the second round so have the option to register at 9:30am.

Where is registration?

Registration takes place in the sports hall, as you enter the sports centre turn right at main reception.


Can I practice before my matches?

Yes there will be practice courts available in the sports hall, they will open at 8:30am.

Will a schedule of matches be available before the competition?

A provisional schedule will be released w/c 21st January. A final schedule will be published on the morning of the competition, once all players have registered.

Can I buy lunch and refreshments on the day?

There is a cafe onsite that will be open 9am – 6pm, please note Ponds Forge is a busy sports centre so leave plenty of time if you are purchasing food/drinks from the cafe.

What else is happening on the day?

How accessible is the venue?

There are disabled parking bays in the sport facility car park. The car park charges can be found here

The car park can get very busy so please leave time to find alternative parking, information is provided here


The sports centre now has accessible 'changing places' facilities.

When can I enter this competition?

Entries are now open. You can enter online now! Please contact us at [email protected] if you need to enter via other means.

Who can enter this competition?
  • This competition is for anyone that fits into the BC1-BC8

  • You can only enter ONE Heathcoat Cup competition.

  • If you are invited to The BE Cup competitions you CAN NOT enter a Heathcoat Cup competition.

How do I enter?

You can enter online up until Monday 21st January at 5pm.

You must be a member of Boccia England to take part.

Problems registering?

You need a current membership to enter any competition.

I have entered The BE Cup, can I enter the Heathcoat Cup too?

No, you can only enter one competition pathway - The BE Cup or Heathcoat Cup.

I don't have a classification, can I still enter?

Yes, you will be asked to enter as the classification you think you are. Guidance about the different classifications can be found here.

You will then be seen by one of our classifiers during the competition.
