The BE Cup kicks off in Sheffield!

The BE Cup Sheffield provides the first opportunity for players to gain points to qualify for The BE Cup Finals!

Who can play in the BE Cup?

Players are invited by Boccia England to compete in The BE Cup. Players can enter up to 3 qualifying competitions.

How do I qualify for The BE Cup Finals 2019?

Players need 7 points to qualify for The BE Cup Finals. You collect points based on your position at BE Cup qualifying competitions. Check out the rules and guidelines above for more information.

On the day

What time is registration?

Registration is at 8:45am, if you are not on first round you can phone in to register on 07824 317993.

Where is registration?

Registration takes place in the sports hall, as you enter the sports centre turn right at main reception.

Will a call room be in action for the competition?

Yes, we will be using the call room for all matches. If you have a match scheduled immediately after a match still go to the call room. The Head Referee will make the necessary adjustments.

Are there any equipment checks?

There will be random equipment checks scheduled for in the call room. Please be aware your equipment can be checked at any time during the competition if requested by the Head Referee.

Can I practice before my matches?

Yes there will be practice courts available in the sports hall, they will open at *8:00am.

*Boccia England staff members may still be setting up areas of the competition so please be patient, if we can allow you on the courts earlier we will!

Will a schedule of matches be available before the competition?

A provisional schedule will be published by Friday 18th January. Any changes could be made up until Friday 25th January so please check the online schedule right up until registration. Changes will be communicated via email and shared on social media.

Venue information

Can I buy lunch and refreshments on the day?

There is a cafe onsite that will be open 8:30am – 7pm, please note Ponds Forge is a busy sports centre so leave plenty of time if you are purchasing food/drinks from the cafe.

How accessible is the venue?

There are disabled parking bays in the sport facility car park. The car park charges can be found here

The car park can get very busy so please leave time to find alternative parking, alternative parking is provided here


The sports centre has accessible toilets and changing areas. There is a 'changing places' facility.


How can I travel to the venue?
