Anyone can host a Tea Break on any day of the year – all you need is a group of people to invite, a place to meet, or reliable internet connection to run the event online.

You make sure there are hot and cold drinks for your guests and they contribute the bakes – biscuits, cookies, cakes, or savoury snacks. If you meet online, everyone brings their own refreshments to the party.

Make the event your own. From an informal chat, a quiz, a speaker, some entertainment, a recipe competition or even a boccia challenge. Feel free to do whatever you like and to spend as long as you like together.

You could run 24 miles over 24 hours, or you could take on a local event – the Boccia England staff team tackled the Robin Hood Half Marathon and Mini Marathon in Nottingham, and our CEO Will even tackled the Wolf Run this year!

Did you know, every time you shop online you could raise FREE donations for Boccia England?

It takes 2 minutes to sign up to Give as you Live, and they’ll turn a percentage of everything you buy via their site into a donation to us! 

Leaving a gift in your will is a great way to leave a lasting legacy of support to Boccia England. We are humbled by the generosity of those who choose to support us in this way.

A gift in your will doesn’t have to be a large amount. Any donation, whatever size, is gratefully received and will be instrumental in enabling us to continue to develop and grow the sport, enabling more people to benefit from playing boccia.

Often people choose to make a donation to charity in memory of a loved one instead of buying flowers. Asking friends and family to donate at the funeral is a lasting and meaningful way to remember your loved one.

There are two ways to donate in memory:

• Set up an online ‘in memory’ page using a platform such as JustGiving. This will allow you to collect donations from a number of people in one place without having to handle the donations yourself.
• Give a single gift using the ‘donate’ button.
