Sport England are the principal funders of Boccia England and will invest £1.3 million towards the delivery of the 2013 -17 Whole Sport Plan for boccia. This will significantly contribute towards talent development, increasing participation and building on the sport’s infrastructure.

Boost Charitable Trust was created in 2005 to Build On Over-looked Sporting Talent, to champion the disabled and disadvantaged and to inspire them to overcome their challenges through the power of sport.
The Peter Harrison Foundation supports the Boccia England club development programme which is focused on increasing the network of boccia clubs across England and providing more opportunities for people to participate in the sport.
Through the ‘Opportunities Through Sport’ grant making programme (one of four programmes available through the Peter Harrison Foundation), the trustees support sporting activities that provide opportunities for people who are disabled, or for disadvantaged children/ young people, to fulfil their potential and develop personal and life skills.
Boccia England works with the Youth Sport Trust on various programmes aimed at engaging young people in sport, either through participation or leadership. These include Change4Life Sport Clubs and the Young Coaches Academy.
