Students from Ormiston Shelfield Community Academy and Shepwell School joined forces to celebrate Boccia England’s National Boccia Day, enjoying an exciting morning of competition, teamwork, and inclusive sport.
With 23 students participating and four sports leaders supporting the event, the morning was full of fun, competition, and enjoyment.
Tom an SGO from Ormiston Shelfield Academy mentioned:
“Boccia has been a central part of our inclusion sport offer at Shelfield for many years. Our involvement with Walsall School Games has ensured we can offer our students regular high quality pathway events and this motivated us in developing our own programme of inclusion sport to create new experiences and inclusive opportunities for our students.”
