World Boccia has announced changes to the times permitted for playing each end across many classifications, but these will not be immediately applied in English domestic competitions.
The length of time permitted for each end in the majority of individual and teams/pairs event has been reduced globally under new rule changes, as shown in the detail below.
However, because these rules were not in place at the start of our current season in England, we will not be implementing the changes during the current round of National Championship and Heathcoat Cup Qualifying competitions, nor for National League and Super League fixtures.
Consideration will be given to implementation at this season’s finals events, and communication will be sent to qualified players/ teams to confirm once a decision is confirmed.
